Andhra Style Prawn Curry Recipe


Prawns recipe can be prepared in many ways. Here we are going to prepare the most best recipe tahtc an be prepared easily. 

Ingredients:-

  • Prawns-250 gms
  • Onion-1
  • Tomato-1
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Chilly powder-2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek powder- ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
  • Tamarind powder
  • Water -2 cups
  • Oil-2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves- 1 tsp

Method to Prepare:-
Now take a large bowl and soak the tamarind and extract the juice. Grate all the onion and chop well with the tomato. Mix all the powders and ingredients together with ginger garlic paste and add little water and make a thick paste. Heat all the onions in a kadai. Saute all the onions in the kadai well and curry leaves till it gets golden brown. Add all the paste and sauté for few minutes till it gets oil starts them well leaving the mixture. Add all the chopped tomatoes and sauté further till it gets mushy. Now add all the prawns along with the tamarind juice and also add a little more water with the salt. Cover all the cooked prawns and well cooked until the gravy is in medium thick. Just before removing the pan from the fire and add all the chopped coriander leaves. Serve warm with plain rice and rotis.
