The taste of pudhina chai


Ingredients:

  • for two cups of pudina chai
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 teaspoons of Darjeeling tea leaves
  • 2 sprigs of fresh mint leaves
  • Milk to taste
  • Sugar or honey to taste

Method:

  • Bring the water to a boil in a kettle.
  • Put the mint, tea leaves, milk and sweetener in a small pot.
  • Pour the boiling water over the leaves.
  • Simmer the mint tea for ten minutes
  • Remove from the heat and strain the seeped tea mixture.
  • Pour into pretty tea cups. Sit back and enjoy this refreshing drink.
