Chili Chicken is one of the famous dishes of Indian restaurant or dhabha. You can have it with Nan and chapatti. In India people try varieties in Chicken. Chili Chicken is the most liked one and is easy to make. You can follow the below method to prepare it.
Ingredients:-
- 500gms boneless chicken fillet
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 2 tbsp Soya sauce
- 5-6 green chilies (finely chopped)
- 2 big onions (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 2 large green bell peppers cut into 2″ squares
- 1 teaspoon Red chilly powder
- Salt to Taste
- 1/2 tsp white pepper powder or to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- Oil to fry
Method:-
- Mix well the flour, egg, chicken and marinate it covered for 2-4 hours in a refrigerator.
- Heat oil in a deep fry pan and fry these chickens and keep a side.
- In another pan add little oil, red chilies dry, chopped onions, bell peppers, green chili and sauté till slightly golden. Add white pepper powder, red chili powder.
- Add the fried chicken pieces and soya souse, tomato sauce. Sauté on low heat for 30 to 35 minutes or until the chicken is tender. Season with salt as taste.
- Cover the pan for 3 to 5 min in low flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve chili chicken with Nan or roti.
