Bitter Gourd Fry


Bitter gourd has very low calorie with best nutrition. It has vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C. It is good source of iron, calcium, and also potassium. Here are the preparation details given below. 


Ingredients:
  • Bitter gourd – 6
  • Red whole chilly – 4
  • Garlic pods – 6
  • Dry leaves – 1 whole
  • Mint leaves – 8
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Tamarind – 1 small size round
Method to prepare:

Now you can take some coconut pieces into very small and roast till it gets dry. Now in this mixture you can add whole red chilly garlic pods, mint leaves and mix them well together and then grind well to get a powder level. Now in this mixture you have to add the washed tamarinds that have been soaked without the seed and the salt. Now you can grind this mixture as a paste by adding a little bit water. Now you can remove this paste from the bowl and then keep its mixture in the paste 


Filling 1:

  • Minced meat – 200 gm
  • Onion – 1
  • Red chilly powder- 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Saffron – ½ tsp
  • Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 1 tsp

Wash all the minced pieces and keep the mixture aside. Take a small dish heat the oil in just 2 table spoon and also add finely chopped onions, saffron, chilly powder, ginger garlic paste and fry till the onion get saluted well. In this mixture add the minced meat, salt, kasuri methi , 1 tsp garam masala and fry neatly it gets fried. Now you can add at least two cups of water and allow the mince to cook. When the mince is dry cook completely.

Filling 2:
  • Potatoes – 2
  • Chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • Saffron – ¼ tsp

Boil and mash all the potatoes well. Now take the pan and fry till the potatoes, chilly, saffron with a mixture of one table spoon salt. Fry all the mixture well and remove from the stove neatly.


Method to be prepared:


Take the best bitter gourd and slit them into pieces at the middle. Remove all the seeds and also scrap the outer skin slightly. Fill the mixture with coconut paste or with the use of potato mash according to your choice. Now you can close this and tie it with the thread. Do this same mixture with the bitter gourd. Take a pan and heat with oil and shallow fry all the required pieces one or two at the same time till it become very nice and golden brown.
