Ingredients:
• Basmati rice -3 cups
• Milk ½ cup
• Curd 1 cup
• Ginger paste 1 tsp
• Garlic paste ½ tsp
• Onion 4
• Green chilly paste 1tsp
• Tomato puree ½ cup
• Red chilly powder 2 tsp
• Cumin powder roasted 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder 1 tsp
• Cardamom powder green ½ tsp
• Garam masala powder 2 tsp
• Coriander powder 1 tsp
• Coriander powder leaves 2 tsp
• A pinch of saffron
• Oil 6 tsp
• Salt (as per taste matches)
Method to prepare:
Take a pan and mix tomato puree, red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, curd, turmeric powder, cumin powder roasted, coriander powder, garam masala, green chilly paste. Stir the whole contents well. After that marinate the chicken with this mixture and keep the mixture aside for 3 to 4 hours. Heat the oil in the pan at a very low flame .Fry the onions till it get golden brown and now you add the marinate chicken and cook the mixture for 10 minutes. Add the 3 cups of rice to the water. The mix the saffron well in milk and add to it. Now you can add taste by using cardamom powder and also add chicken pieces to it. Cook the rice in pressure cooker and mix it gently. Garnish the coriander leaves and serve hot. Enjoy the taste of rich Chicken biriyani in new blend of flavor.
