Tasty Burgers

Ingredients:

  • Canned chickpeas (rinsed and dried)-1 cup
  • Chopped fresh cilantro-1cup
  • Garam masala- 1 cup
  • Chopped carrot- ½ cup
  • Amchur masala- 1 tsp
  • Kosher salt-1 ¼ tsp
  • Ground black pepper- ½ tsp
  • Red pepper ground- ¼ tsp
  • Jalapeno seeded and quartered-1
  • Peeled red potatoes- 2 pounds
  • Chopped red onion- ¼ cup
  • Breadcrumbs -1 cup
  • Olive oil-2 tsp
  • Spinach-2 2/3cups
  • Whole grain pitas that can be cut into half- 4 
  • Red onion slices- 6 inch
Method to prepare Burger:
Combine all the ingredients together in a large bowl and then mix well gently. After that put all the ingredients in the food processor until they are finely chopped. Now take a pan and heat the pan with full water .Put all the potatoes until it is cooked well. Heat the water until 15 minutes. Now add all the onions together and mix all the potatoes until it gets tender. Now drain the mixture and allow it to get cool. Now stir the chickpea mixture and breadcrumbs. Cover and leave the mixture all over the night for 8 hours. Drive potato mixture into 8 equal portions of ½ inch thick patty. Heat the pan with 1 tablespoon oil in a medium heat. Add all the 4 patties and cook for 5 minutes on each side until it gets brown color and heated through. Repeat the procedure with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil and 4 patties. Now place 1/3 cup spinach and heat the pan with 1 ½ tablespoon oil and make a good react with pita half. Top each of the serving with onion.
