Jangri


The most prominent and delicious sweet of Indians is Jangri. This snack is regulated along with urad dhal (Black gram). No one can able to mention the festivals or any celebration has been conducted without the preparation of Jangri. It is also available in all the bakeries in India. The taste of this dish makes one to taste it again and again. 
Ingredients for Jangri:
  • One tsp of rice flour 
  • One pinch of saffron color powder
  • To fry take one tsp of ghee
  • Three cup of sugar
  • One cup of urad dhal (split black gram)

Procedures for preparing Jagri:
  • Wash the urad dhal 
  • Well Soak the cleaned urad dhal in water not less that one hour
  • Drain the water completely 
  • Grind the dhal and make it into the fine paste that it seems to be glue sticking 
  • Add the saffron color into the paste and mix well
  • Add the rice flour to the colored mixture
  • Fill the paste in the zip lock 
  • Now it into the hot oil
  • After that put it inside the sugar syrup for few minutes
  • Now jangri is ready to serve
